Plain terms for a plain service.

What Routewatch is

Routewatch monitors published UK immigration rules and guidance and sends you information about changes whose stated conditions match the criteria you set. It is an information service.

What it is not

Routewatch does not give immigration advice, does not assess your eligibility for anything, and does not act for you with the Home Office. Nothing we send is advice about your case. Whether a rule applies to you depends on facts we do not assess. For advice about your situation, use an adviser regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority or a solicitor.

Accuracy

We read every change and write our summaries carefully, and every alert links the official source. Official text prevails over our summary. We may miss a change or send one that turns out not to apply to you. Do not rely on Routewatch as your only source for a deadline that matters; check the official page linked in the alert.

Price and cancelling

The first 30 days are free and need no card. After that, £2.99 a month or £24 a year, charged by Stripe. Cancel any time from your account page; alerts continue until the end of the period you have paid for. If you think a charge is wrong, email us and we will refund it.

Your account

Keep your profile accurate; alerts are only as good as the criteria you enter. One account per person. We may close accounts used to scrape or resell the service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

We will email you at least 14 days before a change that affects you materially.
